Sample Four-Year Program of Study

Management Information SystemsMajor

UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN – EAU CLAIRE

College of Business

Based on 2005-2006 Catalogue

The Management Information Systems major educates students in using information technology to help people in organizations of all kinds. This major does not require a minor, but students may choose one if desired. The MIS major prepares students to enter a career as a systems analyst, an application developer, manager of information technology, or a network manager. The major provides basic knowledge required for earning the Certified Computing Professional (CCP) Certificate.

The following is a sample schedule showing a typical four-year program that meets all University, College, and major requirements for a BBA in MIS. Note that this is an example and is not the only course sequence that satisfies these requirements.
