DETERMINATION NO. 17 OF 2015
SALARIES – SENIOR DENTAL OFFICER – AMENDMENT
The Defence Force Remuneration Tribunal makes the following Determination under section58H of the Defence Act 1903. It relates to Matter No. 15 of 2015 – Amendment to ScheduleB.16.
1 Citation
1. This Determination is Defence Force Remuneration Tribunal Determination
No. 17 of 2015, Salaries – Senior Dental Officer – Amendment.
2. This Determination may also be cited as DFRT Determination No. 17 of 2015.
2 Commencement
This Determination commences on the date of signature.
3 Amendment
DFRT Determination No. 15 of 2008, Salaries, as amended, is amended as set out in section 5 of this Determination.
4 Schedule B.16 (Senior Officer – Dental Officer)
Delete Schedule B.16 in its entirety and insert the table at the Schedule to this Determination.
5 Transitional
5.1 This section applies to a member who was a senior officer and also a dental officer in the period between 1November 2014 and the date of signature of this determination (the period).
5.2 For each whole day the member performed duty in the period the member is to be paid the difference between the daily rate of salary that was paid to the member and the daily rate of salary listed for the member's rank and dental level in the Schedule to this Determination.
5.3 If the member was required to attend for duty for less than six hours on a day in the period, then for each part day, the member is entitled to a proportion of the daily rate of salary listed for the member's rank and dental level in the Schedule to this Determination, calculated in accordance with Section 3.2.11 of Defence Determination 2005/15, Conditions of Service, less the amount that that was previously paid to the member as salary for that part day.
