Wedding Information

Weddings are performed by appointment only. A wedding ceremony cannot be

performed unless you have a marriage license. You may call for an appointment

with the judicial officer prior to actually obtaining your license but you must have it in hand at the time of the ceremony. A marriage license obtained from any Clerk and Recorder’s office in the State of Colorado is sufficient. For your convenience, listed below are the Clerk and Recorder’s offices in the 18th Judicial District.

There are several judicial officers in the 18th Judicial District who are available to

perform wedding ceremonies Monday through Friday at their respective

Courthouses. Additionally, most of these judges are available to perform after

hours, weekend, and out of courthouse ceremonies. The judicial officer you contact will give you information concerning availability and fees.
