Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Fund Development Board (the Board) is an autonomous body, established on March 14, 1996 under the Development Board Act, 1956, has been implementing demand- led community based rural water supply and sanitation improvement project (RWSSIP) with participatory approach funding from GoN and the World Bank with community contributions to implement the project.During the project period Fund Board intends to deliver not only Water Supply and Sanitation Schemes but it will also deliver stand alone sanitation programs in its scheme VDCs.

The Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project (RWSSIP) is mainly funded by IDA (The World Bank) and GoN (IDA Credit # 5446- NP and Grant # H945- NP) with community contributions both in cash and kind to implement it and intends to apply part of this fund to payments under the contracts to avail professional services of individual consultants with different backgrounds to carry out the studies, monitoring & evaluation, design & estimate, supervision of deep tube well, training, support staffs to Portfolio Manager (PM) etc. The Board intends to update and maintain a roster of individuals with specific skills and expertise enabling it to hire them on short notice on and as needed basis:

The required qualification and experiences of the professionals/experts are as follows:-

Sn / Designation / Minimum Qualification / Experiences
1 / Experts in Diverse Proficiencies:
WASH Expert / Master Degree in Sociology or Social Science or Economics or Civil Engineering or Management or Development studies. / The expert should have minimum 5 years of working experience in related field after having masters degree; should have familiarity with the WASH sector policies, master plan and other relevant policy documents, proficient in both English and Nepali languages, competent in report writing; and high degree of commitment.
MIS Expert / Master Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/IT/IM/IS / The expert should have minimum 5 years of working experience in related field after having masters degree; should have Experience of IT Software Project Management, Design and Development, knowledge of MS.NET architecture and RDBMS system.
2 / Water Supply & Sanitation Engineer / Bachelor Degree
In civil engineering / S/he must have at least 3 (three) years general work experience in civil engineering with at least 1 (One) yearspecific experience in water supply and sanitation sector (in survey,design,costing,technical monitoring and evaluation, supervision and appraisal of rural water supply and sanitation schemes with demand-led-participatory approaches).
3 / Structural Engineer / Master Degree
In civil engineering / S/he must have at least 5(five) years general work experience instructural engineering with at least 2 (two) years work experience in designof water retaining structures as well asdesign ofrural water supply and sanitation components.
4 / Social Scientist/
Sociologist / Bachelor
Degree in Social Science or Management or in other
relevant subject. / S/he must have at least 3(three) years general work experience in monitoring and evaluation, in community development field work with at least 1 (One) year specific experience in water supply and sanitation sector (experience in social survey, monitoring & evaluation, supervision and appraisal of rural water supply and sanitation schemes with demand-led-participatory approaches).
5 / Hydrogeologist / M. Sc. In geology/ Geotec /
Hydrogeology / S/he must have at least minimum 5 years of working experience as a Hydro-geologist after having master degree.
6 / Management Information System
Officer (MISO) / Bachelor
Degree in Computer Science/MIS/IT / S/he must have at least 3 years of working experience relevant to the MIS.
7 / CAP/HHS/SARAR Trainer / Masters degree in Social Science or Public Health/Management / S/he must have at least 3 (Three) years of relevant working experience,SARAR training, TOT and other relevant training.
8 / Conflict/Legal Trainer / Bachelor degree in law/conflict management / S/he must have at least3 (Three) years of relevant working experience,conflict/Safe and Effective Development on Conflict (SEDC) training, TOT and other relevant training.
9 / Accountant Training Coordinator / Master Degree in Management or Chartered Accountant / S/he must have at least 5 (Five) years of relevant working experience with specialization on Accounts and financial management with relevant training, ToT.
10 / Accountant Trainer / Bachelor Degree in Management / S/he must have at least 5 (Five) years of relevant working experience with specialization on Accounts and financial management with relevant training, ToT.
11 / Technical Trainer / Intermediate Level on Engineering (Overseer) / S/he must have at least 5 years of working experience in the water supply and sanitation scheme design, construction, monitoring and supervision. The Technical trainer should have sufficient knowledge on water supply and sanitation scheme construction training.
12 / Office Assistant/
Secretary / Intermediate level passes / S/he must have at least 2 (two) years work experience relevant to the assignment. Should have skills in secretarial task, skills in computer in MSWord, spreadsheet, PowerPoint as well as typing in English and Nepali
13 / Messenger (Logistic Support Staff) / School leaving certificate / S/he must have at least 2 (two) years work experience with ability to run photocopy machine, overhead projector and motorbike license holder.
