Respected Sir,

Kindly recall the discussion the Circle Secretaries and BgTD District Secretaries of the FORUM of Karnataka Circle had with you on 17th April 2015.

Also, as you are aware, by the communication from the Corporate Office, all the staff and executive officers (Other than I T S Officers) will be on strike on 21st and 22nd April 2015, (from 0000 hours of 20.04.2015 to 0000 hours of 22.04.2015) in order to see that the BSNL establishment of our Country is revived, developed and protected by the wraths of disinvestment, financial liabilities, non supply of utmost required lines and wires etc., The strike is against the wrong polices of the government of India, and it is not against any officers and establishment of BSNL at the all India level.

Since this is a strike purely to protect the BSNL, the slogan for the strike under reference is called SAVE BSNL – SAVE NATION. All the employees of both executive and non executive associations will resort to a very peaceful strike. Hence, we request you Sir, to ensure not to deploy any police enforcements within the BSNL premises.

Also, we request you Sir, to strictly implement the standing instructions of the Corporate office not to sanction any type of leave to the employees of all cadres, including MC, unless it is really a genuine one on the reasons of life saving. In case, if any leave applied by any employees of both executive and non executive cadres, prefixing and suffixing the strike dates, suitable instructions may please be issued to concerned authorities not to sanction it and further in case if it is already sanctioned, the same may please be cancelled and the officials may please be called back.

The FORUM of BSNL unions and Associations will assure you a hundred percent peaceful strike, since it is being done for the betterment of BSNL; it is an internal issue of the BSNL workers with the government of India and not against the management of BSNL at any level; and hence, we also request you to kindly reciprocate the same cooperation and cordiality with the FORUM please.
