Role Purpose
CB Richard Ellis wishes to recruit a property market analyst to work mainly on research and related consultancy in UK Regional Business Space Markets The post will be based in the company’s City of London office at St Martin’s Court, 10 Paternoster Row, although regular visits to CBRE regional offices will be required.

The research department includes a 16-strong group of analysts, information professionals and support staff. Research is integral to the quality of advice delivered to the company’s clients and to CBRE’s leading position as an authoritative commentator on its markets.
The analyst will be principally involved in research coverage of
Office markets in the South East outside Central London
Office markets in major UK regional centres (Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Glasgow).
National market for large distribution warehouses.
Key functions include
Production of regular publications and market commentary including key proprietary indicators of property market activity maintained by CBRE on the above mentioned markets.
Research inputs to client consultancy projects
Research support for the Regional Division and the National Business Team covering the South East offices and logistics markets.
There will be close liaison with other teams within the Research department, notably the Economics, Investment and Forecasting team and specialists in CBRE property and business information systems. The role will also involve regular contact with and visits to the company’s regional offices.
KEY TASKS AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
The person appointed will work alongside a Senior Analyst on a range of tasks, including:
Maintaining and analysing CB Richard Ellis data sets on regional business space markets.
Monitoring and analysis of economic drivers of regional property markets.
Analysis of activity and performance of regional property markets.
Providing relevant research material for client presentations and pitches.
Involvement in client consultancy requiring analysis of economic, occupier and investment trends.
Preparation of regular market publications.
Contributions to relevant topical and thematic studies on Business Space Markets.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
The qualifications, skills and experience required for this position are:
Graduate with a degree in a relevant subject
Ideally up to 1-2 years experience in property market research, or similar relevant environment;
Good numeric and data-handling abilities;
The ability to write clearly and concisely
Strong interpersonal skills and team working abilities;
Excellent IT skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.
