Call to Worship – Mark Brown
Psalms 149:1-7
1 Praise the Lord.
Sing to the Lord a new song,
His praise in the assembly of his faithful people.
2Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
Let the people of Zion be glad in their King.
3Let them praise his name with dancing
And make music to him with timbrel and harp.
4For the Lord takes delight in his people;
He crowns the humble with victory.
5Let his faithful people rejoice in his honor
And sing for joy on their beds.
Song - Old Time Religion – Dewvaul Tracy
Give me that old time religion, Give me that old time religion, Give me that old time religion, It’s good enough for me.
It was good for the Hebrew children, It was good for the Hebrew children, It was good for the Hebrew children, It’s good enough for me.
It was good for our mothers, It was good for our mothers, It was good for our mothers, It’s good enough for me.
Makes me love everybody, Makes me love everybody, Makes me love everybody, It’s good enough for me.
Give me that old time religion, Give me that old time religion, Give me that old time religion, It’s good enough for me.

Leaders: Lord, we thank You for the opportunity to serve as leaders in Your work. A work that involves us in something greater than ourselves
People: Lord, we are grateful.
Leaders: We realize that we are stewards of this privilege of leadership and may faithfulness be evident in the leadership we give.
People: Lord, help us to be faithful supporters.
Let us take up the mantle of servanthood and not merely wear our titles as badges of honor.
Leaders: May we be eager to use the talents and resources that we have received from You, to advance Your kingdom through the leadership opportunity given to us. May we not be guilty of burying our God-given assets in the earth of excuses.
People: Let us be eager.
Leaders: Help us not grow weary in well, doing, even when the task of leadership becomes difficult. Help us to know that we will reap the harvest of faithful leadership, if we faint not
People: Let us never give up.
Leaders: May we rely on You to enable us to lead and empower those in our charge. Let us never depend upon worldly means to accomplish Your work but through faith all things are possible.
All: Let Your Spirit lead us. Amen

Song - He’s Got The Whole World In His Hand – Dewvaul Tracy
He’s got the whole world in His hand, He’s got the whole world in His hand, He’s got the whole world in His hand, He’s got the whole world in His hand.
He’s got the sun and the moon in His hand, He’s got the sun and the moon in His hand, He’s got the sun and the moon in His hand, He’s got the whole world in His hand.
He’s got the wind and the rain in His hand, He’s got the wind and the rain in His hand, He’s got the wind and the rain in His hand, He’s got the whole world in His hand.
He’s got you and me, brother, in His hand, He’s got you and me, sister, in His hand, He’s got everybody here in His hand, He’s got the whole world in His hand.

God we thank you for the scouts you have provided for us. we thank you for this course, the leaders and staff. God may we all take something home from this course. Let use it in our troops and dens.
