I. Reprographic Services -
The library is having photocopy machine & offering Xeroxing facility to Staff and outside users. For outside users we will charge Rs.1.00 per page.
II. Newspaper Clippings
This is an unique service provided by library based on the newspapers subscribed wherein the selected topic of interest to the users like Public Health, Healthcare, Aids awareness, Health legislation, Patients rights, Women’s health, etc. are clipped and maintained in files News paper title wise & date wise for reference to the users.
III. Access to Statistical Health Database -
CEHAT has a computerized statistical health database on over 500 variables on various health indicators. The database gives State and All India level information.
IV. Information & Reference Services
We offer Information and Reference services in order to meet the information needs of a variety of different patrons, whether they are a staff member, or the general public. We can help them to locate materials in our collections or at other libraries, use a variety of reference books, indexes, and databases, and assist them in formulating effective search strategies to streamline their research.
V. Document Delivery Services
Document Delivery Service basically refers to the supply of copy or photocopy of our organizational repositories against a request from a user either through the librarian, research staff or from the users directly. The users can send their request either by post, E-Mail or telephone.
VI. Library Orientation
This module provides a brief introduction to the nature of library in general, and especially the resources, services, and arrangement of CEHAT Library.
All libraries operate on a basic principle - to make their resources available to their clientele.
Basically CEHAT is a Research Centre & their Library and Documentation Unit is filled with books, reprints, videos, documentary films, magazines, journals, newspapers, and other resources available for your use. The library is also a virtual, electronic library that provides access to organizational repositories like Books, Articles Papers and many other resources through its Web site.
After completing this module you should have a general idea of the great variety of resources available through CEHAT Library, how these resources are organized as well as many of the services available to you from CEHAT Library.
