Harken extends sponsorship of the 29er Grand Prix Series until 2016
Lymington, Hants – Harken UK is delighted to announce their continued support of the UK 29er class until 2016.
Harken is keen to build on its successful involvement as title sponsor of the Grand prix series for the past 5 years and will take this support to the next level. The new sponsorship agreement will generously reward success at each event and overall, whilst also supporting junior sailor involvement. Details of the package will be disclosed later but will be in line with that expected from the dinghy hardware specialists. Harken is very pleased to continue its involvement with such an exciting fleet that nurtures the future generation of elite sailors.

The Harken 29er Grand Prix is an annual series of eight events held across the country, culminating in a closely fought battle for the title of overall series winner at the end of each season.

About: The UK 29er Class Association is a member lead association which manages all activities on behalf of its sailor members providinga comprehensive training program and racing calendar. Its training program is designed to support both new entrants and experienced sailors, and a racing calendar which includes an 8 event Grand Prix series, National, Inland and Winter Championships. The Association works closely with the Royal Yachting Association to develop youth sailing in the UK with the boat enjoying its position as one of the nominated RYA Youth Programdouble handeddinghies and feeding sailors into the Olympic classes.
