3.4.2 The video subgroup thanks the NBs of Germany and US for the valuable comments on ISO/IEC 14496-10:2010/DCOR 1.
3.4.3 The video subgroup recommends appointing Heiko Schwarz and Gary Sullivan as editors of ISO/IEC 14496-10:2010/Cor.1.
3.4.4 The video subgroup recommends not to publish ISO/IEC 14496-10:2010/Cor.1, pending its integration into a new edition to be produced upon finalization of ISO/IEC 14496-10:2010/Amd.1.
3.4.5 The video subgroup thanks the Italian NB for the valuable suggestion to study a proposed combination of cropping rectangle, sample aspect ratio, and supplemental enhancement information to support 2D-compatible service for frame compatible stereo video. We have started studying this issue and believe that such an approach can potentially be specified in a new amendment to ISO/IEC 14496-10. It is however pointed out that the suggested usage of frame cropping does not comply with the original text, which specifies that pixels outside the cropping area are not output for display. Further study on this issue is necessary.
3.4.6 The video subgroup thanks the CANNB for the valuable input on enabling single-slice support for the High 10 and High 4:2:2 profiles of ISO/IEC 14496-10. This issue needs further consideration, any change not compatible with existing decoders is not regarded to be a viable solution. NBs are kindly requested to further comment on this, as well as the desirability of a new Level definition providing such functionality.
