SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
RBC Borealis AI Fellowship applications are to be submitted electronically in PDF format as one fileusing the naming convention LastFirst_RBC_2017by 4pm on November 30, 2017 to :
- The completed 2017RBC Borealis AI Post-Doctoral and Graduate Fellowships Application Form
- Curriculum vitae (no page restrictions), including information concerning the application, updates to curriculum vitae will not be accepted after submission;
- Copies (both sides) of all academic transcripts – legend must be included;
- For postdoctoral applicants: A brief summary of the doctoral thesis (maximum 300 words);
- A project description regarding your planned research agenda with activities for the next two years and how the Fellowship funds will assist with that research (no more than 1,000 words). Students in professional programs, please submit an overview of your anticipated plans and/or activities for the 2 years of the Fellowship. If a separate page is required for the use of any references such as end notes or bibliography. The reference page is not considered part of the word count;
- A non-technical summary of your research and/or activities which also demonstrates how your research connects to the research themes listed above (maximum 500 words, to be written by the applicant);
- A one-page outline of your past, current and future entrepreneurial interests and activities;
- Confidential letters (on letterhead and signed) from three assessors (emailed directly to before November 30, 2017), one letter must be from your proposed University of Toronto academic supervisor;
Applicant’s packages must have all the above materials required when submitted in one PDF package.
Please Note:
- Documentation sent directly (by the applicant, unit or referee) to the Banting and Best Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will not be considered.
- Documents in a language other than English requires an official English translation.
- Documents/Applications received after 4:00pm on November 30, 2017 will not be accepted.
