STRAY JOBS IN S&PG PLANT INCLUDING BHEL BOILERS, LDO & ASH HANDLING PLANT, CPP & NGCT AREA, COAL HANDLING PLANT AND WAGON TIPPLER AREA

A) THE S&PG PLANT CONSIST OF FOLLOWING PLANTS /AREA :

w BHEL Boiler area, LDO/FO storage and unloading area, Ash Handling System,

w Thermax Boiler area, Natural Gas Station & Cooling Tower area, Turbo Generator area along with TG Auxiliaries

w Coal Handling Plant area

B) Following major jobs are to be performed by the Contractor (boiler and cpp area)

w House keeping/upkeepment of area/ Keeping road, pathway and operating area free from waste materials and obstacles including wild grass.

w Removal of spilled fuel and ash from areas including storm water channels and internal drains on the same day of leakage and disposal of the same(after plucking foreign material) at the area specified by GNFC.

w Assistance in lubrication, greasing of equipments and storage of lubricant drums, properly in storage area. Bringing chemicals, lubricants, safety items, and welfare items. etc. required for the plant from within GNFC premises.

w Dewatering and desludging of bottom ash hopper pits effluent pits, storm water drains, internal drains pumps pits, valve pits, pipe/cable trenches etc. as per the requirement from time to time.

w Dechoking of various coal bunkers, feed pipe of mill, EP hoppers etc.

w General cleaning and Dechoking of oil guns.

w Preparation of phosphate, hydrazine, formulation, biocide, acid and other chemicals.

w Descaling of heat exchangers.

w Collection and shifting of coal reject from coal reject area to storage provided.

w Dechoking of nozzles & desludging of cooling tower distribution system.

w Cleaning ash from boilers, auxiliary equipments etc. before offering for maintenance.

w Assistance in draining liquid from NG headers and shifting NGL drums.

w Removal of ash from ASDS pits near Mill-3C and opposite to Ash Handling Plant as per the requirement including its disposal to coal rejection pit or ash disposal area within GNFC premises.

w The jobs mentioned hereunder are generally required to be carried out during unit shut-down, annual shutdown of Boilers or total shutdown of all the plants. They would be offered as and when shutdown is availed depending upon overall planning in this regard.

±  Dewatering and desludging of ash water sump,

±  Dewatering and desluding of ash slurry sump Once in a year,

±  Dewatering and desludging of cooling tower basin and sump and dechoking of all the parts of cooling tower - etc. Once in a year.

±  Manual dechoking of coal bunkers from inside before and after monsoon - 12 bunkers each one after the other. and Cleaning of all equipments i.e. Pumps, motors, piping, fans etc. during shutdown.

w  Own tractor is to be maintained at site on round the clock basis for removal of ash from pits, trenches, area under EP and storage bin of S&PG plant and transportation in your own transport to dumping area or any other places and unloading the same properly at the specified site of disposal. Shifting of coal, carbon soot, coal rejects, etc.

w  Dechoking of coal bunkers, feeders, feed pipes and coal mills during monsoon period.

w  Rendering services on man day basis during contingency or unforeseen emergency "As and when required".

C) Jobs to be performed at Coal Handling Plant are:

  Dechoking of the equipment and machineries in CHP i.e. crusher house and wagon tippler area, tunnels, etc.

  Dewatering and desludging of dust suppression house and all the underground tunnels.

  Recovery of coal in CHP including galleries of all the conveyors, walkways of the conveyors, dust extraction room, fan houses and putting it back into unloading hoppers.

  Dechoking of the grating of the reclaim hopper in coal storage section by rodding to ensure free flow of coal into hopper.

  Dechoking of all discharge chutes of all the conveyors, feeders of crushers by hammering, poking, etc.

  Rendering services for placement and removal of wagons with the help of car puller.

  Keeping the coal stock wet by sprinkling water and fire extinguishing.

  Dewatering of BC-6 and BC-1 tunnels mainly during monsoon.

  To keep the road and pathways and working area free from waste materials, obstacles and vegetation.

  Bringing various materials from the stores as per requirement, Rendering services for lubrication / greasing of equipment, All internal drains and equipments cleaning before offering for maintenance.

D) Imported Coal Manual Unloading :

  Imported coal is expected to be received at the rate of about 65000 MT per month, in trucks. Most of the trucks are to be unloaded on the truck tippler. However, in case of exigencies trucks are to be unloaded manually on the ground.

  Adequate manpower to perform the job efficiently. Provision would be required for execution of job on round-the-clock basis.

E) Tippler Operation :

  Imported coal is expected to be received at the rate of 65000 MT per month in trucks. These trucks are to be emptied out using truck tippler on round the clock basis.

  Ensure necessary arrangements for engaging and disengaging trucks on truck tippler platform strictly as per the requirement of the Company.

F) Deployment of suitably qualified adequate manpower to carryout Coal Handling and related operations like clean the wagons to make them suitable for loading of Urea as and when asked for by us, carryout manual unloading of the wagons. Subsequently, the unloaded coal shall be transported and fed to the tippler or manual hopper, to mobilize required resources at the earliest, if the received coal is wet and unloading on hopper is not possible, so that entire rake unloading operation is completed within the free time as allowed by WR, Arrange for unloading of wagons manually on both sides of tracks and reclaim the coal to manual unloading hopper as and when asked for by us within the stipulated time allowable by the Railways.
