It makes explicit the concepts of formative and summative assessment, and explores reporting practices in schools.

Unit Outcomes

On successful completion of this unit the student should be able to:

2. Use a range of teaching strategies including verbal and non-verbal communication, and theories and methodologies to improve student learning that are responsive to the learning strengths and needs of all students.

3. Use curriculum assessment and reporting knowledge to design learning sequences and provide timely and appropriate feedback to students and relevant stakeholders, with an understanding of families, peers, media and educational settings.
