1. Facilitate an organisation self evaluation process

1.1 Conduct focus groups, questionnaires and/or interviews with clients to receive feedback

•  Knowledge of systems to support the quality assurance process – including government and non government consultants, resources and personnel

•  Best practice principles and emerging trends in service delivery area

•  Quality assurance standards and practices

•  Systemic approaches to developing work plans including the development of objectives and performance criteria

•  Compliance requirements for regulations within the children’s service industry

•  Currency of knowledge about regulations, quality assurance standards and legislation

1. Coordinate organisation planning

1.1 Identify appropriate strategic alliances and negotiate and maintain participation

1.2 Identify overall purpose and philosophy of the organisation and translate into a written or recorded set of aims and objectives which are clearly understood, measurable and attainable and evaluated as appropriate

Assessment Task 2- Professional (reflective) journals (linked to workplace)

Each student is responsible to write 1 Professional Journal for seven (7) workplace learning circle visit days attended commencing week 7- 13. Use your cluster 3 – Reflective Journal for this purpose. Each journal is due and will be cited in Friday’s Management class – Be prepared to discuss the contents of your journal with your peers. Five (5) of these Journals will be assessed; you can choose which (5) to submit. The due date for these journals will be in week 13.
