Green County Beef Producers
Scholarship Application
This scholarship is available to any Green County, Wisconsin resident who is attending or has been accepted to a College, Vocational School, Technical School, Agriculture Short Course, or any institute of higher learning. Selection will be based on involvement in the beef industry and the Green County Beef Producers organization.
Scholarship applications can be submitted multiple years however this is aone-time scholarship per recipient. Funds will be awarded at the Green County Beef Producers Annual Banquet in January to recipients who show proof of enrollment in the second semester of school.
Selection criteria for this scholarship will be based on the following:
- Assistance with the Green County Beef Producers Great Steak Out, Cheese Days volunteer and other services to the Green County Beef Producers
- Involvement pertaining to the beef industry in breed associations, exhibiting at area, state and national shows, livestock judging team, royalty, 4-H/FFA beef exhibitor or project youth leader, UW Extension events and attendance at Beef Producer meeting and committees
Recipients will be selected by the criteria fulfilled.It is the sole discretion of the Green County Beef Producers Scholarship Committee to review all entries and submit the recipients to the organization.Interviews may be conducted.
Scholarship applications must be typewritten and in paragraph form.
