Civics End of Course Exam Extra Credit Review

1.  Visit http://www.ecsd-fl.schoolloop.com/civics

2.  Located on the left, you will see a list of Civics Benchmarks under the Four Civics Reporting Categories

3.  Choose one of the Benchmark Hyperlinks on the left hand side of the page that you would like to review.

4.  Click on this hyperlink and look at the center of the page. You will see a section titled “Overview”. Read each of the Benchmark Clarifications under the “Overview”. – You MUST read ALL of the Benchmark Clarifications for each Benchmark!!!

5.  Now, click on the “Read More” for EACH of the bulleted Benchmark Clarifications. Read each of the Readings and the Vocabulary on the document that opens when you click on “Read More”. (Note – there may be more than one clarification per benchmarkJ -- you MUST read them ALL!!!). These readings and vocabulary are a great review for the EOC, so read carefully!!!!

6.  In the box below, document the Benchmark you are reading and how many Benchmark Clarifications are listed by initialing by the number as you read them. (Make sure you click the “back” button after you read each clarification.)

7.  Below the Benchmark Clarifications, you will see three Example Questions. Read and answer each of the 3 Sample Test Questions (Low, Moderate and High) in the box below.

8.  After you answer each question on your own, click on the link below each question --- now write the correct answer and reasoning in the large box below. (Make sure you click the “back” button as you read each answer.)

9.  Now, scroll down to the bottom of the site and click on the “Vocabulary Games” link. Click on “Scatter” at the top of the page. Now play the “Scatter Game” for vocabulary. You should know ALL of these words for the EOC!!! Once you finish the game, record the time it took you to finish in the box below.

10.  Have your parent sign that you’ve completed the Benchmark!

11.  This Paper is due on the day of your EOC. You can earn one point of Extra Credit in the Project Category for each benchmark that you complete the review for. Once you fill up this sheet, you can request additional sheets. You may complete all of the benchmarks for a total of 35 Extra Credit Points!!!!
