TERM 4 PLANNER: PREP 2012
During Term 4 the Prep children will be studying a unit of work titled ‘Grow, Grow, Grow!’ The children will explore how living things have needs in order to survive. Simple lifecycles will be investigated and basic needs, such as light, food and shelter will also be studied. Children will visit Bundoora Park Farm to see and interact with a range of farm animals and learn about the care needed for the animals.
This term the Little Devils Circus is coming to Doncaster Gardens Primary School! It is a fun and inspirational program, full of variety and challenges for all students. The students will be exposed to a range of age-appropriate circus skills. The instructors from the Little Devils Circus will take the children through the steps required to learn the basics of these skills. The program will include a 50 minute circus class each week for 5 weeks, starting in the second week of Term 4.
The cost of the activities is outlined below. Please complete the permission slip and send it with the money to school in the named envelope provided by Friday 12 October.
Bundoora Park Farm (Wednesday 7 November) $24.00
Little Devils Circus (Weeks 2-6) $16.00

The cost of the Prep Term 4 planner is $40.00.
I give permission for my child ______of grade ______to attend the excursion to Bundoora Park Farm on Wednesday 7 November.
In the event of illness or injury to my child whilst on the excursion, I authorise the staff member in charge of my child, where the staff member is unable to contact me, or it is otherwise impracticable to contact me to:
· Consent to my child receiving such medical or surgical attention as may be deemed necessary by a medical practitioner.
· Administer such first aid as the staff member may judge to be reasonably necessary.
· I agree that my child will bring a hat and I will provide them with appropriate sunscreen protection for
the duration of this activity.
