General Committee Meeting: Wed 21st March, 2007 - 8:00pmat Caroline McNeil’s house.

PRESENT:

Caroline McNeil, Emily Stock, Peter Fairfield, Liz Johnston, Ross Young, Phil Martin, AnneCarnsdale& Kylie White.

BUSINESS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES:

  • New School contact is Caroline McNeil
  • Warm-up jackets: Anne has organised to get sample sizes. If 50+ Jackets are ordered the cost will be between $35 -$40 each and Meteors will on-sell for $50 each. (Making a profit of approx. $10 per jacket.) Anne to advertise jackets in the 1stSchool Newsletter in the second term and orders will be taken in the second week.
  • Bank signatures: Anne was given the wrong form for signatories. Now has the correct one & will get signatures…again.
  • Peter has checked supplies: A new pump is needed & more balls. He will contact Ross Langdon to purchase 15 new balls.
  • Uniforms: Need to advertise in theSchool newsletter forsecondhand uniforms as there are no girls’ uniforms in stock.
  • Ross has printed small laminated cards with the committee’s contactdetails and gave one to all members present at meeting.
  • General committee: Kalina Tokunia, Donna Welsh & Francine Ross are unable to attend meetings but will assist with thePresentation Night.
  • Anne to follow up one player not paid for: Harvey Plant, Grade 2.

TREASURER’S REPORT:

Postponed until next meeting.

NEW BUSINESS:

  • Team Managers to give team lists and contact numbers to Coaches.
  • Teams need to be informed through the School Newsletter of any training sessions cancelled.
  • Any further late registrations will need to go through the appropriate Team Manager and Coach. It is not the Committee’s decision.
  • Grade 4 Boys team is in need of an extra player. Liz to contact a friend at KunyungPrimary School to see if there are any boys interested in playing on the team.
  • Warm up Jackets: Anne to get a cost for jackets without the player’s name printed on it as it has been suggested that if names are printed on the jackets there will be no re-sale value.
  • Anne to put a flyer in the School Newsletter when the warm upjackets are available to purchase.
  • Anne to buy a Cash Tin & start a Petty Cash Tin for any re-imbursements.
  • Emily reimbursed $7.50 for key cut.
  • Anne to reimburse Debbie $45.30 for wine and nibbles for AGM.
  • Committee meetings have now been moved to a Tuesday night.

Meeting Closed at 9.10pm.
