Post=28hrs P/W@ £13ph (this is a 1yr fixed term post the last year of a 3yr post)

(28hrs funded by BBC Children in Need & 7hrs funded via WEB S.E.-7hr position- still in post)

The role of Young Women’s Group & Youth Manager involves:

Working with young women age 9-18 providing appropriate support and activities within a group setting at the Women’s Centre and other venues as appropriate, helping them to recognise their skills and develop their potential. This post requires working minimum of 2 evenings & some weekends Engaging with local primary school/s who have children with behavioural/esteem issues and to deliver training to identified children that will assist them/schools with: improved behaviour, confidence, self esteem, increased attendance, and assist in a smoother transition into secondary schools. Engaging with communities/groups/ young people aged 14-18 who are not in employment, education or training (NEET)with the aim to support them into further education/training/access to further support.
