Model the change in size of a population by applying the below equation:

  1. Start with 5 toads.
  2. Assume that each year, 20% of the toads each have 2 offspring.
  3. Also assume that each year, 20% of the toads die.
  4. Calculate the number of toads to add or subtract the first year. Round calculations to whole numbers.
  5. Continue calculating your population changes over the course of 10 years. Record each change.
