WHAT COUNTS IN SCALING?

Оборка кровли – неотъемлемая часть процесса горной разработки. Выполнениеэтойоперациивручнуюявляетсянебезопасным, непродуктивным ВScalingisanessentialpartofundergroundexcavation. Manual scaling is unsafe, unproductive and uneconomical. Mechanization significantly improves the quality of scaling. In addition, it raises to new levels the safety, productivity and cost-effectiveness not only of this work but also of the entire mining process.

The Scamec 2000 is born out of an evolution of successful scaler experience and countless hours of research, planning and engineering work.

Productivity...

The Scamec's boom is made of high-strength reinforced square-section tubular steel. The boom features include lifting, extending and +/- 40 degrees slewing. The three interchangeable versions (S, M and L) make it possible to optimize boom reach and coverage for the actual dimensions of the underground space. This reduces the need for repositioning and minimizes non-productive time.

The advanced boom control system allows easy operation of all of the boom features. Adjustable slide/wear pads ensure smooth telescoping and retracting during scaling and keep boom wear to a minimum.

The cylinders for the boom lift, slewing and scaling head movements are dimensioned for long life.

The Scamec operator is protected by a FOPS cab from hazards such as falling rocks. Protective safety guards prevent rocks surfing along the boom.

Scamec 2000 is easy to operate, providing high quality scaling for a safer work environment.

Optional air conditioning ensures the right working temperature and humidity inside the cab when working in cold or hot underground conditions.

The powerful fail-safe braking system with fully enclosed multi-disc brakes provides guaranteed driving safety.

With its compact design and 40 degree frame articulation, even the longest Scamec can pass the 90 corner in a tunnel less than 4 m wide. The standard 115 kW or optional 154 kW power line makes it possible to optimize ramp speed and climbing ability.
