New SWISSRAILING SLIM railing system

Slender 45 mm design for aesthetically challenging projects

Glass railings and balustrades have an ideally have an elegant, delicate appearance,but unfortunately the massive supports spoil the overall effect in many cases.Now, however, there exists a robust system solution with a 45 mm thick supporting element:SWISSRAILING SLIM.

The newly developed SWISSRAILING SLIM supporting element from Glas Trösch was designed especially for use in combination with SWISSLAMEX laminated safety glass.This product is based on a static load-bearing joint between the support and glass. It fulfils all of the construction-specific requirements for railings and balustrades along with current regulations and SIA standards.

Installation is fast and easy:SWISSRAILING SLIM is a system solution with a smartand intelligent design that adapts perfectly to any customer-specific requirement.The individual elements are fully prepared at the factory, including the sealing joints.The laminated safety glass is hermetically bonded to the supporting element,entirely eliminating the need for time-consuming sealing work at the construction site.Cover plates and drainage devices are also a thing of the past,further reducing the onsite installation time.SWISSRAILING SLIM can be produced in two versions – for installation from above or from the side.

SWISSLAMEX laminated safety glass has very impressive active and passive safety properties.It is splinter-free to prevent injuries if broken.All products meet the technical standards in the field of fall protection.At the same time, the stability and safety features fulfil the basic requirements for many usage and design categories:SWISSLAMEX laminated safety glass is well suited for all kinds of railings and balustrades in private or public dwellings – both inside and outside.Versions are also available with coloured and printed films, coated and printed glass, and transparent or opaque.
