IV. Conclusion:

In observing the detailed analysis of the three general questions, there were over 50% of test participants who did not know about the VolunteerCenter. Therefore, we concluded that the original web site is not well known in the community. 30% of the people will visit the site in the future; 30% of the people will not visit the site in the future; 40% are not sure whether they will visit the site or not. 100% of the test participants were able to locate “contact information” immediately. Therefore we concluded that it is a site with a lot of potential due to its efficiency in leading users to useful information. 40% of the unsure participants are potential target users.

In observing detailed analysis about the web site including text, navigation and links, graphics, and general design, there were 68% of test participants who rated the text colors and sizes “good” or “excellent”; 61% rated “good” or “excellent” the navigation efficiency and links visibility; 69% rated the graphic designs “good” or “excellent”; 71% rated “good” or “excellent” the general design including download speed and the theme and uniformity of every web page on the site.

In conclusion, among all questions regarding the site, the majority of the scores were between “good” and “excellent”. Therefore, the feedback from the 30 test participants about the web site is mainly positive.
