Robust transport-technology solutions from KIPP

High-load-capacity ball rollers for use in conveyor systems, load transporting and mechanical engineering

KIPP now offers a range of load-bearing ball rollers for the transporting of individual items on conveyor and feed systems. They form – together with the corresponding ring nuts, lifting screws and eyebolts – our new “conveying technology” range.

These load-bearing rollers are supplied with housings made of galvanized or stainless sheet-steel. Spacer rings, which likewise form part of the range, can be used to aid installation, by being placed between the support plate and the ball-roller housing. As an alternative, we also offer housings with integrated spring-loaded jaws or attachment holes.

KIPP offers compatible solutions for an extremely wide field of applications, with ball-roller load capacities ranging from 600 N to 15,000 N. The version equipped with plastic ball-rollers can handle loads of between 100 N and 250 N. These components can handle conveyor speeds of up to 1 m/s without difficulty (0.25 m/s for the polyamide-ball version).

Our new conveyor technology range includes various items of load-handling equipment, in addition to our ball rollers. Extra-strength, rotating lifting screws (with or without hexagonal wrench) for high-specification, safety-crucial load handling – including units that rotate laterally through 90° - are available for these purposes. The integrated hexagon-socket bolt is locked to prevent it falling out.

The plastic-coated, forged steel rings have been subjected to 100% electromagnetic crack-testing in accordance with EN 1677-4. Strength class 10.9 is compatible with a load-bearing capacity of between 400 kg and 4.5 metric tons.
