I hope all are doing well in 2014. 2013 was very busy with many transitions and some losses, including a Navy friend in the Washington Navy Yard (WNY) shooting 16 Sep. I had just moved across the Potomac to support the WNY Ship builders of our new IAMD destroyers, after 11 years in the Pentagon supporting CNO's Surface Navy leadership. That tramatic day caused many changes, yet the strength of the Navy team has carried us forward through all the continuing shifts and turns. Good news on the family front is that our daughters are succeeding in university, with Victoria commissioning in June from MIT NROTC (AeroEng) and Brianne as a Sophomore at JMU studying to be a Teacher. Looking forward to ending Winter's Polar Vortex fun and celebrating Reunion of friends and Family this Autumn.
