Photo Guidelines for the Mens’ National Tennis Tournament Program

The purpose of this document is to provide useful information to the many athletic teams that are providing photos and rosters for the upcoming 2015 Mens’ National Tennis Tournament event. Our intent is help the various participants in this tournament show their organizations, and by proxy their students,

Please notice that the photo format is a horizontal image. In looking at the pages from previous programs, note the tiered pose of the players in photos 1 and 3. This allowed the faces of the players to be more visible in the picture so the viewer can really see what individuals look like. Photographers should allow enough space at the top and bottom of their images so feet and heads do not get cropped off. Players need to close up gaps in the photos so awkward spaces do not occur as in picture 4. Long single lines of players make for very small facial images and unattractive photos in the program as shown in pictures 2 and 6. Please do

in the most favorable way possible. We are providing examples so that coaches may see what images are successful and those that do not present their teams positively. It is important all participants to look as good as they can.

not submit photos that have been formatted for use on the web because the low resolution results in poor print quality. If you have ever seen pictures where people look as though they have measles, it was because web images were used in print.

Please make sure to include your rosters and identify players in your submitted photos. Your students will appreciate the recognition.

We hope that this information is helpful, and we thank you in advance for your assistance.
