From; Stephen Small

To Whom It May Concern,

I have known and worked with DarylRamsey Tuttle for approximately 4 years. In this time I have worked with Daryl as a fellow teaching colleague and for two years as his Academic Manager. Daryl worked at Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School from May 1, 2006 till June 20, 2010 in a fulltime teaching position. During his teaching time at WFLPS, he taught ESL in grades 1, 2 and 5. He also took on the role as a grade academic coordinator to guide new and inexperienced teachers. The ages of his students ranged between six and twelve years of age. The English levels of his students varied from beginner to advanced, creating a challenging position for Daryl, which he was able to adapt to accordingly.

Daryl is extremely professional infulfilling his teaching role, putting the needs of his students first in all situations. He is punctual to work and in starting classes. He demonstrates a thoughtful and creative approach to his teaching program making sure that all students are catered for on an individual and class basis. His manner and approach to the students is one of caring and patience. Daryl has excellent classroom management skills. He maintains firm control over his students in a safe and friendly learning environment. Students are always engaged in productive and educationally sound tasks and activities. Daryl is able to explain instructions and directions in a clear and understandable manner for the students in his class.

Also, Daryl has excellent organizational skills. His teaching folder, teaching resources and student information are always accurate, clearly understood and up to date. His work area is again well organized and neat. This organizational skill is also reflected in his classroom teaching and in his student’s behaviour and standard of work.

Daryl is a very outgoing and vibrant person with an enthusiasm for learning new ideas and strategies. Daryl has shown the ability to work cooperatively, productively and collaboratively with any and all staff that he has worked with. It was these skills that saw him promoted to the position of coordinator of grades one and two, where he has been instrumental in helping less experienced and qualified teachers progress quickly in their understanding and skills of classroom management and teaching.

I would have no hesitation in recommending, with confidence,Daryl Tuttlefor any position offered to him. Please feel free to contact me to discuss more about Daryl with me. I can be reached at 86 18321582712. The school’s direct number is 86 5419-5697.
