Online tournament registration for the Lehigh Valley Junior Golf Tour is open for the 2016 season at .
The tournament management website by the nationally-known Blue Golf tournament management system, features on-line registration for adult and junior golf tournaments, starting time information, tournament information, electronic scoring, and tournament statistics.
Participants can register for LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR tournaments on the website. Once the annual membership fee is paid, members can register for tournaments on the schedule. Online registration instructions are available at the end of this letter.
The 2016 LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR will feature 29 tournaments for boys and girls ages 9-11, 12-13, 14-15 & 16-19. Most tournaments are 18 holes in length (9 holes for ages 9-11). Last year over 200 youngsters participated in the program.
Junior golf tournaments open to girls are clearly listed on the LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR schedule. Girls are also welcome to play in tournaments that are not specifically open to boys only.
The purpose of the LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR is to expose young men and women -- ages 9-thru-19 -- to competitive golf. An integral part of this mission is teaching youngsters proper golf course etiquette, scoring procedures, sportsmanship, and an appreciation for the traditions of the game.
The LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR aims to provide a highly organized and positive environment in which young men and women can learn competitive golf.
The LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR aims to provide playing opportunities to interested youngsters of all economic circumstances.
The LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR tournament fee for weekday 18-hole tournaments at public golf courses is just $15. All tournaments include online registration, starting times, and electronic scoring at
All LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR multi-round junior golf tournaments enable youngsters to earn a national ranking through the JUNIOR GOLF SCOREBOARD ranking service. The multi-round tournaments are well-priced between $65-to-$90.
All multi-round tournaments on the junior tour include:

The LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR is one of the finest regional junior golf tours in the state of Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic states region for many reasons:
1. The LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOURutilizes the nation’s finest online tournament management system – Blue Golf – to manage the operations of the junior tour.
The nationally-known Blue Golf tournament management system, features on-line tournament registration, starting time information, tournament information, electronic scoring, and tournament statistics.
2. LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR members ages 12-through-18 can earn a national ranking through the JUNIOR GOLF SCOREBOARD ranking service by playing locally in several Lehigh Valley Junior Golf Tour multi-round events.
Overall in 2016, there are 8 local junior tournaments eligible for national ranking consideration. Junior Golf Scoreboard tournaments are designated on the online junior tour schedules.
TheJUNIOR GOLF SCOREBOARD is one of the nation’s top ranking services for junior golfers. A national ranking from this service is a valuable tool to gain entrance into national junior tournaments, and to attract attention from college golf coaches.
3. Now in its 23rd year of operation – and with an annual membership of over 200 junior golfers -- the LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR’s schedule, quality of competition, and strength of schedule is as good as any regional junior golf tour in the mid-Atlantic region. Many LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR members have won several titles on other regional junior golf tours, and have become successful high school, collegiate, and amateur golfers.
4. Since it’s founding in 1994, the LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR has produced:
* many successful high school and collegiate golfers
* boys and girls state high school champions
* top regional amateur tournament winners
* state amateur champions
* high school and college golf coaches
* college golf scholarship recipients
* golf industry professionals
* first high school golfers to win the Lehigh Valley Player of the Year award, and the Lehigh Valley Amateur title
5. Over the past twenty one (21) District 11 boy’s championships, past and present Lehigh Valley Junior Golf Tour members have earned 131 of the 143 PIAA State Championship & East Region tournament spots available.
6. Participants in the 2016 LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR will earn an invitation to compete in the LEHIGH VALLEY OPEN --the region’s premiere golf competition – by winning the following tournaments, or award:
*2015 LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR Player of the Year (16-19 years-old boys age group).
* 23rd annual Lehigh Valley Junior Tournament of Champions (overall 14-19 years-old age group).
*2016 Lehigh Valley Amateur Junior Division (14-18 years-old age group).
*2016 Lehigh Valley Open -- Junior Qualifying Tournament. The top three (3) qualifiers will earn a spot in the 2016 Lehigh Valley Open,
All LEHIGH VALLEY JUNIOR GOLF TOUR members who wear golf shoes must wear shoes with non-penetrating, non-metal spikes. This policy is necessary due to the numerous regional golf courses which ban penetrating metal-spiked shoes from their facility.
All players must be dressed properly per LVJGT and per host golf course dress code policies.
No tempermental outbursts or club throwing will be tolerated.
Dress code:
Collared golf shirt
Sweater or windbreaker: golf attire.
Golf pants
Shorts: bermuda length golf shorts
Standard golf hat or golf visor
Clothing items not allowed: no athletic sweatshirts, no cargo shorts, no jeans, no pants with external pockets, no sweat pants, no tee shirts.

Participants can register for Lehigh Valley Junior Golf Tour tournaments through the Blue Golf online tournament management system on the website. Once the tour’s annual membership fee of $50 is paid, members can register for tournaments on the schedule.
Players who cancel a particular tournament registration will be charged a $10 fee for credit card and Blue Golf online processing charges.
Players can find information about a particular junior tournament by accessing a tournament's Tournament Information Page on the website.
Players will be notified of their starting times by e-mail.

7. pay the $50 junior tour membership fee
