2.1 The detail about joining IEEE
2.1.1 Wai Kin Ng said he applied The IEEE studentmember, transferring of the fee in banking is needed a long time.
2.1.2 Kevin Hung said after 12 IEEE student members form a student branch, other students can pay a half of fee to become an IEEE student member.
2.1.3 Kevin Hung said ESS and IEEE are two difference organizations. ESS is responsible for internal activities and IEEE is responsible for external activities.
2.1.4 Kevin Hung said the near activities of ESS are preparing the gathering and forming an IEEE student branch.
2.1.5Leung Chik Yuenasked for the problem causing when ESS and IEEE also hold the same type of activities.
2.1.6Leung Chik Yuenasked for the activities holding by IEEE registers to Student Union is needed or not.
2.1.7 Kevin Hung explained that IEEE student branch is not subordinate to Student Union. So IEEE student branch do not need to register Student Union but it need to register the headquarters of IEEE in America each year.
2.1.8 Kevin Hung suggested ESS can organize the activities and IEEE becomes the sponsor or co-sponsor.
2.1.9Pok Hiu Shing asked for the number of students wants to become an IEEE student member.
2.1.10 Kevin Hung replied many Year3 students and few Year1 and Year2 students want to join IEEE.
2.2Logo, Jacket and Stamp
2.2.1 Leaflet
Decision: Sau Yan Fokwill add “Engineering Student Society” on the leaflet.
2.2.2 Stamp
Decision:
1.On the stamp, the upside of our logo is the Chinese name of our Society, the underside is the English name of our Society.
2.Wai Kin Ng will go to the HomantinPlaza to order the stamp on 20th October.
2.2.3 Jacket
2.2.3.1 Wai Kin Ng suggested purchasing jacket at Wing Cheung Garment Wholesale(永祥貿易公司), the phone number of the company are 2386 4512, 2386 26216 and 9185 2883. The address is 45C, Fuk Wing Street, Sham Shui Po.
2.2.3.2 Wai Kin Ng said the jacket (made by thinner cloth)without edge cost $60(with logo), but the cost of the jacket (made by thicker cloth) with sliver edge increase $90, the total cost $150.
2.2.3.3 Sau Yan Fok asked for the jacket can be completed before the gathering or not.
2.2.3.4 Kevin Hung replied it is not enough time to receive the jacket before gathering.
Decision: All committee agreed to adopt the jacket is black colour, with blue logo in front and “Engineering Student Society OUHK” at the back, made by thinner cloth and without edge (cost $60).
2.2.4 Logo
2.2.4.1 Leung Chik Yuen suggested receiving the design from the public students.
2.2.4.2 Kevin Hung replied the constitution does not mention the logo design.
2.2.4.3 Kevin Hung suggested the logo design competition can be hold later.
2.3 The schedule of the gathering (29th October)
2.3.1 Yee Yan Lee said all students can join the gathering.
2.3.2 Kevin Hung said the objective of the gathering is condensing all Engineering Students.
2.3.3 Can’t asked for the direction of the fee ($120).
2.3.4 Wai Kin Ngreplied the total fee is paid to the store.
2.3.5 Kevin Hung explained the food can be eaten arbitrarily. The gathering’s poster should be added “任食”.
2.3.6 Kevin Hung suggested deciding the frame at first, then deciding the details.
2.3.7 Leung Chik Yuen said the gathering will become an internal activities only for committees.
2.3.8 Yee Yan Lee suggested promoting the gathering to find more students to attend at first.
2.3.9 Kevin Hung suggested the students can go to the destination their own or assemble at a location then go together.
2.3.10 Leung Chik Yuen suggested the starting time should be earlier.
2.3.11 Kevin Hung suggested the time of gathering should be 1 hour earlier.
2.3.12 Kevin Hung said taking photos during gathering.
2.3.13 Wai Kin Ng suggested the destination of gathering can be changed to the country park.
2.3.14 Kevin Hung said it is too late to change the destination.
2.3.15 The destination of gathering is “藍鷗士多”, Shek O.
2.3.16 Wai Kin Ng said the student can go away anytime they want.
2.3.17 Ka Kwan Siu suggested a game “交換身份”.
2.3.18 Kevin Hung suggested a game that he stands in centre, others stand around him 20 metres far, then others kick slippers to him, whose slipper is the nearest to him is winnwe.
2.3.19 Kevin Hung suggested building a sub-society to distribute the work.
2.3.20Wai Kin Ng said he will contact the store directly.
2.3.21 Wai Kin Ng and Ka Kwan Siu are responsible for games.

2.5.1.3 Sau Yan Fok said she will find the information about the machine.

2.5.3 The limitation of time and money
Decision
The time is about 3 hours and the money should be lower than $100.
2.6 Technical Talk (5th November)
2.6.1 Kevin Hung said two of his friends to be lecturers of the talk. One lecturer is Sunny Chu, he will share his experience when he worked in hospital and toy factory.

2.7 Technical Visit (11th December)
2.7.1 The location of technical visit is decided on Hong Kong Science and TechnologyParks temporary.
2.7.2 Wong Po Yi said only the exhibition halls of IC Development Centre and Photonics Centre are opened for public to visit.
2.7.3 Wong Po Yi said the RFID Centre is needed to order before visit.
2.7.4 Wong Po Yi said watching a short film in the Core Building 1.
2.7.5 Wong Po Yi said the exhibition halls show some LED and optical fibers.
2.7.6 Wong Po Yi said the personal visit and group visit also have guide service in appointed time.
2.7.7 Technical visit will be also promoted with gathering on the following day.
2.7.8 Wai Kin Ng suggested visiting The S&T park from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.
