I. President- Allie Patberg

  • Meeting Procedures and Expectations
  • Be here by 5, in Tubac Room every other Tuesday
  • First President's Roundtable istomorrownight!
  • All presidents will gather once a month to stay updated
  • Will be discussing how to become a positive and effective leader
  • Junior Panhellenic
  • Starting next Tuesday
  • Two representatives chosen from each chapter

  • Looks like a great group of emerging leaders- excited to see what they accomplish

  • ASUA is putting on this new campaign- supposed to educate campus on sexual assault and end rape culture (replacement of It’s On Us Campaign)
  • I Will Week is first week of February
  • Putting together educational training program that you all will present to your chapters- Training is January 24th from 4 to 6 PM and all delegates must attend
  • Encourage President and entire chapter to participate

II. VP Internal Affairs- Alexis Dehaven

  • Academic Roundtabletonight, I will be going over what house has worked well for them academically and SMART goals for the semester.
  • Trying something new this year—meeting with USFC and IFC
  • Chapter Swap will beFebruary 9th at 6pm, how many people does each house want to send?
  • Two to three women sent to each chapter
  • Valentines’ Day themed for children of Diamond Children’s Hospital
  • When do people plan on holding their first sister sorority event? Remind them they have to have 2-3 per semester
  • I really enjoyed training everyone, I think it went great and I am excited for an awesome year!!
  • Worked to set up a booth on the mall for the I Will Campaign during the resource fair Monday 2/1 from 10 am- 2 pm—will have a survey people can take to see how men and women in Greek life feel sexual assault has been handled on campus, has it happened to them, etc.
  • Will also have wallet sized cards that include various resources you can use
  • Hoping to get chapters Standards of Excellence Points if they attend the booth—approximately 20-25% of chapter needs to attend to receive the points

III. VP Membership- Madi Cartwright

  • First recruitment meetingtonightyay!
  • NPC 2015 Legislation for recruitment
  • Values Based Recruitment
  • Eliminating skits, no gifts/favors/letters/etc.
  • Want the most time to talk to PNMs
  • Recruitment videos—want to make sure chapter funds are going towards embodying what it is like to be a Panhellenic woman on this campus
  • Making sure mediation agreements are completed this semester
  • Go Greek Info Session this Thursday 1/21—all fraternities and sororities on campus will be there
  • 6 PM in North Gym at the Rec Center

IV. VP Programming- Caroline Bartlett

  • January Service Event is at HOPE Animal Shelter on the 30th and 31st; already filled up but just a reminder and congratulate all chapters on commitment to service
  • February Service Event is at Atria Campanadel Rio onFebruary 9th. It will be from6:30-8:30 PMand will be a Mardis Gras party. I'll be sending out a sign up about two weeks before the event.
  • Please promote this to your chapters
  • Rally Cats is an organization that helps pump up the crowd at games and is a great way to get involved with Arizona Athletics.If members of your chapter are interested, they can email Tara Mariles () or Michael Greene () no later thanJanuary 26th. From there we will send them a quick questionnaire they will need to fill out online by January 28th.

V. VP Finance- Lydia Yee

  • Please share the budget with your chapter advisor in the next two weeks - delegates will all be voting on the budget at our next meeting
  • Remember delegates are the liaison between chapter advisors and myself. If your advisor has a question, it will go to you first. If you are unable to answer, you will then send the question to me. My answer will go back to you and it is your responsibility to communicate the information back to your advisor.

VII. VP Health Promotions- Alyssa Hankins

  • Sorority Safety Night Self Defense- Will be eitherTuesday, February 16th at 7pmorWednesday, February 17that6:30or7pm. The REC hasn't told me which date will work yet. I will call today and see if their instructors have let them know yet.

  • Delegates attend training and report back to chapters
  • Panhellenic booth on the mall
  • SOE points for participating
  • Body Smart Fair:February 24th 10am-2pm. Panhellenic will have a booth on the mall again! SOE points will be awarded. Please ask executive boards about giving reward points to members.
  • Reflections: As a delegate, I think it is important for you guys to endorse this program!If you haven't participated in this yet, please sign up for the first or second session of this semester, and then hopefully you will want to become a facilitator and attend the facilitator training at the end of February! Thefirst session meetsJanuary 26th@6pmin B207 andFebruary 2nd@6pmin B207(every session has two dates spaced one week apart - like pre and post reflections), but there are many more dates available. I need you guys to sign up if you have never been through the program.

  • Recruitment Counselor Applications are due January 31st at 11:59 PM
  • Will NOT consider late applications
  • If a member of your chapter wants to be an RC and has not attended an info session, they must do that before applying
