Stryker Sponsored Training & Education Agreement
By registering for this event, you have agreed to the following terms and conditions:
STRYKER SPONSORED TRAINING & EDUCATION AGREEMENT
Stryker confirms and you acknowledge and agree that the provision of the training and education on Stryker products and services within the 2016 Argo Cranial Access Surgical Skills Lab (the ‘Activity’), and Stryker’s meeting of any expenses in relation thereto, shall not be construed nor shall it create any expectation or obligation that you use, recommend the use of, purchase or cause to be purchased any Stryker product or service dealt with in the Activity or at all.
You agree that Stryker’s sponsorship of you to attend the Activity shall be disclosed where necessary by both Stryker and you to any relevant professional or healthcare institution where such sponsorship may be seen as a possible conflicting interest or where otherwise required by the institution (where institution is your employer).
You agree that you will obtain any necessary agreement or consent from your employer / healthcare institution required for you to attend the Activity.
Stryker may pay for or subsidise, at its discretion, reasonable travel, meal, accommodation and incidental costs and also provide hospitality (food & beverages ) during the activity. Stryker will not provide or reimburse you for any entertainment including minibar and hotel movie service costs.
EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Cancellation Policy:
The Event Organisers reserve the right to cancel any workshop or course if there are insufficient registrations. Also, at any time, without notice and without giving reasons, the Event Organisers may cancel or postpone the Event, change the venue or any published timetables, activities, presenters or particulars without being liable for any loss, damage or expense incurred or suffered by any person.
Travel and Accommodation:
The Event Organisers are not themselves carriers or hoteliers nor do we own hotels or coaches. The coach journeys and hotel accommodation herein are provided by reputable carriers and hoteliers on their own conditions. It is important to note, therefore, that all bookings with the Event Organisers are subject to terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by hoteliers and all other service providers who services we utilise, some of which limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage.
Our Responsibility:
The Event Organisers cannot accept any liability whatever nature for acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise of those coach operators, hoteliers, and other persons providing services in connection with the Course pursuant to a contract between themselves and yourself (which may be evidenced in writing by the issue of a ticket, voucher, coupon or the like) and over whom we have no direct and exclusive control.
The Event Organisers do not accept any liability in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which are beyond our control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part including but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts God, act of government or any authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action (whether or not involving our employees and even though such action may be settled by acceding to the demands of a labour group). Please note that prices quoted are subject to change without notice.
The Event Organisers:
References to "the Event Organisers" in the above Event Information and Conditions mean Stryker Australia Pty Ltd.
