13052MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES of 12 March
Item 13037 (13022. 13013): Co-op bank account
Swansea Building Society will close the account once the final cheques have cleared and send a cheque for the balance to the clerk, who will then pay that into the Co-op account. Swansea BS is unable to do a BACS transfer, and would charge £20 for a CHAPS transfer. Cheques signed today on the Co-op account will not be sent out until the balance has reached Co-op.
Item 13030 (13045): WAG Funding for Community Council Websites
The clerk will attend the meeting convened by MCC on 25th April and report back next month.
Item 13046: Junction R46/R76, Cwmcarvan
MCC will provide new Slow/Araf road markings on both approaches to the junction on the R46. The drainage problems near Tregare old school have been resolved.
13053REPORT FROM COUNTY COUNCILLOR
Cllr Burrows continues to monitor progress on the road repair close to Dingestow Church – tenders will be invited soon, with the expectation that work will be carried out at the end of May. The new County Hall in Usk will open next week. The committee reviewing community boundaries is concentrating on urban areas in the first instance.

- 00152, Cwmcarvan, Lower Gocket Farm, variation/removal of planning condition to 2012/00689. Recommended for approval
- 00162, Cwmcarvan, The Old Carpenters Shop, extension. Councillors noted that the map of the property does not show all the buildings around the house that have been put up in recent years (stables, guest accommodation). Recommended for approval
- 00180, Dingestow, Bourne Farm, portal frame agricultural building for housing of livestock. Recommended for approval, on the assumption that adequate safeguards for disposal of effluent will be in place.
