Year 5/6 Reading Gladiators

Set 2 We Can Be Heroes Supplementary Texts

In addition to the core books, we suggest that you supplement your collection of stories with books from your school library. In this way you can provide for an even wider range of reading interests and attainment. These are our suggestions for supplementary reading. Allow children to respond to the supplementary texts in their Reading Passports but encourage them to extend their knowledge of books and authors by promoting the core Reading Gladiator books.

Remember to encompass different types of heroes, those from history and sport as well as superheroes.
