Rideau Child & Family Hub –usage review Sept 2015 to March 31, 2016

The Rideau Child & Family Hub was in the process of being established during the summer of 2015. It was launched in September of 2015. This information summarizes the use of the Hub for the first 2 quarters [Sept to Dec 2015, Jan to March 2016].

Communication:

To date the opportunity to develop a web page on the EKIOC site has not actualized, the Facebook page is linked to CRCHC web site.

The Facebook site continues to post information of value to Families in Rideau Lakes and a guide to ‘what to post’ has been created. To date we have 87 ‘likes’. The post reach [per day] shows significant variation with a range from 3 to 185, during the second quarter showing a more stable daily range of 30-60 consistently. ‘Shares’ early on showed a range of 0 to 2 per day, growing to a range since Jan of 0 to 5 per day.

Next Steps:

1-Continue to develop and standardize data collection methods to meet funder’s needs and provide simplified tracking that is comparative [with the help of the DAC].

2-Plan for a committee meeting Apr/May. Agenda to include expanding reach and ‘hard to reach’ populations.
