I ask you to rise with me to the challenge set before us in the Eastern Province. To restore our leadershipacross our great clan and maintainour current standard of excellence additional revenues are imperative. During the OWS the decision was made to reduce traditional meeting costs by having a virtual board meeting versus an onsite gathering. This leadership decision saved the province $8,000.00. This administration is focused on identifying other ways to reduce costs and better support our initiatives. Please review the attached fundraising opportunities presented during the OWS.

Purposeful Utilization of Revenue:

  1. Eastern Province Technology Acquisitions
  2. Eastern Province Guide Right
  3. Eastern Province Council Programming

Kappa Gem Keepsake Fundraiser –2014 Kappa Gem Keepsake - Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity | Eastern Province

  • The Good Brother Mackenzie donated 1,500 Kappa gems to the province as a means to generate revenue without incurring membership dues increases. This opportunity offers zero risk to the province or members while creating an opportunity to generate a minimum of $7,500.00 to go towards eliminating province council technology equipment leasing costs. Any additional revenues will be applied to supporting EP Guide Right Programs.

Kappa Community Day Carnivals – Showcase community service organizations and their programs in service to our Eastern Province Students & Communities using EP Anchor Chapters in partnership with the Eastern Province

Corporate Sponsorship Programs - Acquire regional sponsors in support of Eastern Province initiatives

Our goal is to strengthen the Eastern Province and its chapters by leveraging best practices across the province and especially partnering up & down & across chapters to have greater impact within the communities that we serve.
