QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT

“SofiaAirport” EAD MISSION:

Providing aviation and commercial serviceswhile ensuring high level of quality, safety and security, reducing the negative impact on the environment and meeting the requirements of all SofiaAirport customers.

“SofiaAirport” EAD VISSION:

Turning “SofiaAirport” EAD into a leading airport at the Balkan Peninsula through quality management for effective achievement of the objectives corresponding to the modern trends inglobal and European air transport policy.

Sofia Airport EAD management defines its quality policy as a pursuit of continuous improvement of the quality of services and related airport handling and management activities according to the requirements of the national and international legislation.

Using the available human and material resources, we strive for high professionalism, strong serviceculture and cooperation with all airport customers in order to meet social need for safe air transport of high quality.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES:

  • Improvement of airport safety, effectiveness and efficiency indicators;
  • Provision of the highest level of quality aviation services, meeting the international and European standards of airport business;
  • Maintenance of high technology equipment and systems allowing for sustainable development and management of SofiaAirport;
  • Planning and provision of airport services recognizing the requirements and opportunities for environmentalprotection;
  • Effective and efficient use of available material, human and financial company resources;
  • Receipt of constant feedback and measurement of customer/stakeholder satisfaction to identify their needs and fulfill them at the highest possible extend;
  • Systematic approach to quality management and constant improvement through maintenance of a certified system meeting the ISO 9001:2008 Standard;
  • Staff motivation throughcorporate social responsibility policy and assurance of the necessary competence based on training, skills and experience;
  • Improvement of staff qualification and training to emphasize the role of human factor in ensuring quality work, order, discipline and loyalty to the company;

“SofiaAirport” EAD management takes full responsibility for the application and maintenance of the Quality Management System at all management and operational levels in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 Standard, as well as for the regular adequacy assessment of the policy and its quality objectives..
