5th Annual Hawks Baseball Camp

Dates: Monday, April 4ththru Wednesday, April 6th

Time: 9 a.m. till 12 p.m. each day

Location: River Ridge High School

Grades: 3rd thru 8thgraders

Cost: $60 if pre-registered by March 25th, $70 for at the door campers or not pre-registered before March 25th

The following items will be taught:

  • Throwing technique
  • Infield & outfield fundamentals
  • Catching & pitching (Last day of camp)
  • Base running
  • Relays

Competitions: Each day there will be two competitions based on the day’s learning techniques. The two winners of each event will receive prizes.

Awards: On the last day of the camp, the Hawks Baseball Players will decide 5 different winners for the following categories: Best Arm, Best Fielder, MVP, Mr. Hustle, & Top Hitter

Times: On Thursday, we will be running the bases and recording the top runner for each grade. The winners of the 3 running events, for each grade, will be posted on the All-Time Camp Board.

Hawk Olympics: The last day will also feature the Hawk Olympics. The Olympics include three events and the top person for each grade per event will be recorded. Each grade’s winner will also be posted on the All-Time Camp Board.

Other Information:

In case of rain, we will be in the gym on that day, so you need to bring tennis shoes.

You need to pre-register by Friday, March 25thno later than 3:00 p.m. to guarantee your shirt size and receive the $10 discount.

We authorize the RRHS Baseball Staff permission to request medical treatment asnecessary to ensure the well-being of the participant. Further, the undersigned agrees to save indemnity and hold harmless the North Thurston Public Schools and the RRHS Baseball Staff against any and all liability, claims, judgments, and/or demands for damage arising as a result of injuries sustained while traveling to and from and/or attending or participating in the RRHS Baseball Camp.
