Qualifications

/ ·  Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Work experience / ·  Minimum 5 years’ experience at senior management level or as a senior professional responsible for both strategic and operational matters in a high quality, service focused organisation
·  Sound knowledge of the education sector in the UK and awareness of educational policy development abroad.
·  Experience of working with a Board to ensure good governance
·  Evidence of working with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
·  Proven track record in fundraising and income generation from diverse sources.
·  An evidenced track record of identifying and converting opportunities into profitable and sustainable business growth.
·  Evidence of financial management skills.
·  Track record of building relationships with external organisations, funders, local authorities and Government departments.
·  Track record of line managing staff.
·  Experience of working with young people in a personal, volunteer or work capacity.
·  Proven experience of successfully managing a large workload, overseeing various streams of work, and prioritising tasks to ensure targets are met.

Skills

/ ·  Established leadership skills with the ability to manage a team to deliver against performance targets.
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·  Proven track record in mentoring; excellent interpersonal skills.
