Meeting was called to order started at 7:00pm at Water Street Brewery

  1. Review of Minutes –Minutes approved by the Board
  2. Treasurers Report –Report approved by the Board
  3. Committee Reports:
  1. Membership Report –M. Steinhauser stated that we got 10 new members that joined, 265 member’s total. We still have 30 members that we’re reaching out to.
  2. AAC –The committee will meet in October, and our new members can help out in PA this year. There will be 2 new high schools in NY, and 5 in PA. Here’s a list of our committee members and their high schools:

  3. Scholarship –M. Steinhauserstated that 2 out of the 3 scholarship winners sent out Thank Yous. Still waiting on 1.
  4. Worthington-Scranton Advisory Board – no report. Will have one in October.
  1. Old Business:
    A. Northwestern and Ohio State Ticket pre-sales: 26 Northwestern tickets were sold. 20 Ohio State tickets were sold. 14 Parking passes were sold. We still have 8 tickets available for Ohio State. Must be a chapter member to get the tickets, and $10 goes to our scholarship fund.

B. Ohio State PSAA lottery tickets—Bob Maleckiis selling tickets online.
C. Yellow Parking Passes—Bob Malecki: Selling for $14, and $4 goes towards our scholarship fund.
D. Riverfest Chapter Booth – M. Steinhauser stated that we got 7 new alumni members! Peggi did a great job

E. Kegs and Eggs – K. Miller Corcoran stated it wasa huge success! 40 people came out and we got 2 new members. We sold $153 worth of tickets for the Jersey raffle that went towards the scholarship.

5. NEW BUSINESS

A. Homecoming parade—Michele Steinhauser T-shirts are going to be made and they can have up to 26 people in the parade. 2 cars will be in the parade, Steve and Marise Shearer and Kyle Shearer. We will get candy to pass out, which was approved by board to get 7 bags from Sams club. We can win up to $500 for the chapter with the most spirit.
B. Homecoming tailgate—Michele Steinhauser, the Fassolds are nice to host our Tailgate again this year! We will be registering everyone to make sure we have enough food, etc. It will be Post game since the game is at noon. Hot dogs and hamburgers left over from picnic, spidies will be served, and everyone can bring a side dish or dessert. $5/member.
C. TV tailgates—Kate Miller Corcoran and PeggiMunkittrick. We will have TV Tailgates at the Krowbar on 10/11 and 11/22. Thank you Scott for setting this up! Peggi got the Elks to have every game on there!
D. Board season ticket seats—Bob Malecki: 2 games availble, Temple and Michigan State, both $120 with yellow parking pass.
E. Hockey Tickets 2015—Michele Steinhauser. Presale tickets in the student section again for March against Michigan. We will try to get a package deal with a tour of NLC Club in Beaver Stadium and the All Sports Museum.

G. Adopt a Highway- Will be on October 4th since it’s a bye week in Johnson City.

Harolyn stated that we should post our meetings and tailgates in the newspaper to get more people to come. We will start doing that in the Good Times and the PA papers.
