The Upper New York Conference expects the following minimum standards will be met to insure optimum care of the parsonage by both the pastor’s family and the Charge. Whenever a Conference, District, LocalChurch or Charge is engaged in purchasing, construction, renovation or maintenance of a parsonage, it is expected the guidelines below will be followed. You may wish to refer to the UNY Policy on Parsonage Care and Standards, adopted June 1, 2002. This review will help you plan to provide these minimum standards.
