Aims of the workshop
The aims of the workshop are

(1)  to give an overview of ongoing longitudinal studies in Nordic Countries, and discuss possibilities for concrete co-operation between research groups.

(2)  to provide an introduction to various approaches for planning and analyzing longitudinal survey data, including methods for handling complex surveys.

(3)  to discuss problems and methods in carrying out such research in a survey context

Time and Place
The workshop will be held at Mykolas Romeris University, Ateities 20, Vilnius, Lithuania, October 12 -13, 2007, Room 414 NK

Participants
Participants will be doctoral students, post docs (less than five years since graduation), and senior researchers involved in the research groups. The target participant should be involved/planned to be involved in an ongoing longitudinal study, or at least plans in that direction. He/she is expected to attend all sessions and to present his/her research findings or plans in a students' session.

Application
We need your application not later than September 15, 2007 containing a short CV and, if possible, an abstract of oral presentation. Students make their 10 minute presentations (Power Point), followed by five minute discussion.
