Lorraine Mouery joins Friend Bank

Lorraine Mouery recently joined Friend Bank as Vice President and Director of Marketing. With over 20 years of experience in banking and finance, and applying a strong expertise in business development, employee skills development, training, and team building, Lorraine will be a welcome addition to the banking services offered by Friend Bank.

Prior to joining Friend Bank, Lorraine was a Senior Vice President and Director of Preferred Services for CenterState Banks of Florida. She led the development of many products, services, and training tools. She also led in the development of the bank’s financial services which included their brokerage department and obtained certification to operate as a FHA lender which Mouery applied to the development of a Reverse Mortgage division.

Lorraine has held various positions in banking and served with several financial institutions; including Nations Bank/Bank of America and First Union/Wachovia. She has functioned as mortgage lender/broker, commercial lender, branch manager, area manager, business development director, sales trainer and even Bank Ambassador. Among Loraine’s many talents she is an avid public speaker. She shares on topics about management, team building, how to avoid identity theft and facilitates many faith based seminars. Her presentations are full of humor. Her motto is “The mind can only absorb as much as the rear end can tolerate so I’ll keep it short”. Her claim to fame, as she puts it, is when Governor Jeb Bush awarded her with the Triple Crown Award and Freedom Team Salute on behalf of the Florida National Guard for her participation and support of the troops while her son served in Afghanistan.

Lorraine is married to Dr. John Mouery; a semi retired Southern Baptist Pastor. She has three children and four grandchildren. “I am blessed to find an appointment with folks who practice what they preach. Friend Bank isn’t satisfied to just talk about meeting the needs of this community, they actually do it.”

Lorraine attended Pasco Community College, Florida School of the Bible and the University of Florida where she graduated with honors from the Florida School of Banking.
