Faith in God,a noble character, steadfast devotion to Dharma, spiritual illumination and pure love constitute the real spiritual wealth. Material wealth belongs to the perishable order. Though it is necessary in the empirical life, it is spiritual wealth that gives man unbroken happiness.
Though every one is born with Samskaras of previous lives, it is the parental duty to help their children develop their spiritual side of personality.Charater, intelligence and spirituality have to be patiently nurtured as one tends a tender sapling. Then alone one can blossom into perfection.

My dear Arjuna, a man who does not follow this prescribed Vedic system of sacrifice certainly leads a life of sin, for a person delighting only in the senses lives in vain.

TEACHINGS OF POOJYA SREE BHAGWAN / People think that by taking dips in the holy teerthas they will be purified. But real purity comes only through purification of the mind. There are some instances wherein God, out of compassion has rushed to the devotee, which shows how accessible He is. He seeks out His devotees and is prepared to undergo trials for his bhakta. Divine Mother laughed with us, loved us, shared our sorrow etc. Thus She identified Herself with us, nay with everything in this world. Even animals like pigs received the same love from Her as human beings did. She never gave importance to the external form but to the Perfection in all which She wanted to bring out
HUMBLE TRIBUTES
Smt.Chandra.T.Keswani
It is said that Kripa of Sadguru attracts disciple. It is a great fortune to meet Sadguru. How this call came to me is a long story. However as a matter of fact, I will describe it in few lines.
My Pathidev (Husband) Keswani after superannuation retired from Railway Service where he was working as Deputy Chief Engineer Northern Railway. This meant a change from active work to complete passiveness. It is rightly said that it were better to wear out by work than idle way. It was at this period that my noble and worthy mother,Mrs Hirani from Thana ,Bombay took me to the satsang of Bombay devotees of Sadguru SreeRama Devi. All eager desire rose in my mind to see in person Sadguru Mata, who was reported to be all divine.I requested my Pathidev to allow me to go to Mangalore, along with my parents, but this request was turned down instantaneously. To my surprise after a lapse of year,he himself phoned me to be ready to go with him to have Darshan of Mataji at Mangalore, for which he had made all arrangements previously.
I cannot describe in words the pleasure I got from the message of my Pathidev. The journey of full four days by train, shrunk itself into a short pilgrimage. I have been very fortunate to have Darshan of Mataji on two more occasions. At every meeting there has been inward urge for purification and realization, It was felt that the mysterious power emanating from Mataji has wonderful transforming quality. Through righteousness She is guiding us to detachment and renunciation.

Quotes from Swami Vivekananda

4.It is only when you forget that it is all play and that you are helping in the play, it is only then that misery and sorrows comes.
5. When the highest ideal of divine love is reached, philosophy is thrown away; who will then care for it? Freedom, Salvation, Nirvana-all are thrown away; who cares to become free while the enjoyment of divine love. / PEARLS FROM MOTHER’S LIPS
1. Where there is strength of forbearance there anger cannot arise.
2. When the separative ego subsides beyond scope of remergence, one becomes a true devotee or Janani.
3. So long as the fever of sense craving has not abated, the mind cannot settle in serenity.
4.The sadhaka should be in a state of wakeful awareness,”Jagrathavastha”.To remember God constantly without any break or lapse ,to keep guard over one’s own mental movements; this is Jagrathavastha.
THE END
A portion of Jnanappana
by Poonthanam Namboodiri
(see some notes about Poonthanam Namboodiri in the last page)
Is there scarcity of the Lord's name?
Or has fear of hell declined?
Is there life without use of tongues?
Have we escaped from mortality?
Alas, alas, without reflection
We roast and eat out life in vain.
After how many lifetimes of labour
We happened to be born here by luck!
How many lifetimes spent in water,
How many lifetimes lived like trees,
How many lifetimes as beasts, as cattle
Ere we could be born as men?
After so much hard labour
We fell into our mother's womb,
Ten months have been spent in the womb,
Ten or twelve years spent as a child too
And the rest of the time not knowing ourselves
We spend in self-centred vain glory

Poonthanam Nambudiri
If there ever was another writer who could be Ezhuthachan's* equal in bhakti, if not poetic power, it was Poonthanam Nambudiri, a contemporary of #Melpathur Bhattatiri and possibly of Ezhuthachan himself. His chief poems in Malayalam are Bhasha Karnamritam, Kumaraharanam or Santanagopalam Pana and Jnanappana. The first of these is a devotional work intended to create Krishna bhakti in the readers. The second is a touching narrative in very simple and straight-forward language and fast moving verse. It tells the story of a Brahmin father who lost all his children and sought the help of the Pandava prince Arjuna. Arjuna proudly offered to help him preserve his next child alive, but he was unable to keep his word. The Brahmin abuses Arjuna to his great anguish and in his wounded pride he decides to commit suicide by leaping into flames. Krishna out of love for Arjuna, intervenes at the last moment and takes him to Vaikuntha from where they recover all the lost children of the Brahmin. Krishna's infinite love for his devotees is thus the central theme, but the poem also makes its appeal because of its down-to-earth realism and unmistakable touch of authenticity.
Jnanappana or the Song of Divine Wisdom is a veritable storehouse of transcendental knowledge which is firmly rooted in the experiences of this world. In a language, absolutely free from regionalism and dialectal influences, unadorned with excessive rhetorical features, through a series of concrete pictures taken from contemporary life, the poet is able to drive home his perception of the short lived nature of the ephemeral aspects of life. His religious meditations flow uncluttered and unencumbered with irrelevant matter
(*Ezhuthachan=the author of Adhytama Ramayana in Malayalam. He is believed to be the father of Malayalam Language. #Melpathur=The author of famous Narayaneeyam in Sanskrit. He got the vision of Lord Guruvayurappan in the Guruvayur Sree Krishna temple.)
