NEMA WORKSPACERULES NOTICE

NEMA Workspaces are not to be used for illegal purposes or to cause wrongful harm to any person(s), company, or industry. Users should communicatein a business-like and professional manner, and solely for the lawful and proper industry business purposes contemplated by these workspaces and not for the private or personal gain of any individual or company or violation of any law.

Users of NEMA Workspaces shall----

  • Not communicatecompetitively sensitive or other proprietary information, exchange information about prices, price terms, production plans or quotas, customers, sales, and marketing plans, or discuss any arrangements that might harm competition, including but not limited to allocating territorial markets or customers, fixing or stabilizing prices or output levels, or unreasonably restraining competition.
  • Not communicate any information for the purposes of engaging in, soliciting or facilitating, or aiding and abetting the violation of any federal, state or local law. This includes, by way of example but not limitation, trade secrets and other confidential and proprietary information, false or misleading information, “inside” non-public financial and other information about an enterprise whose securities are publicly-traded, sexual or pornographic material or text, personal information about children, personal information including any unique personal identifiers such as social security and tax identification numbers, bank account numbers, credit card numbers, personal health information and similar information that is considered private.
  • Not use the workspaces to disparage or defame the products or services of any person(s), company or industry.
  • Notattach, link to, or upload material that contain software viruses, political campaigning, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of "spam.”
  • Not use a false email address or other identifying information, impersonate any person or entity or otherwise mislead as to the origin of any content.
  • Not use the workspaces to harass, disparage, demean, or discriminate against other person(s), companies, or industries based on race, color, age, national origin, religion, sex, veteran, disability, genetic information, gender identification, sexual orientation, pregnancy, or any status protected under applicable federal, state or local law; this includes, but is not limited to,remarks or images such as slurs, epithets, threats, hateful statements, offensive symbols, derogatory comments or visual depictions, unwelcome jokes and teasing.
  • Not download or post any information that infringes third-party trademarks and copyrights. A consent, permission, or license of the owner of the trademark or copyright to post or download trademarks or copyright-protected content shall be provided to NEMA. Questions about fair use of copyright-protected content shall be directed to NEMA Counsel.
  • Not engage any advertising or other promotional activity with respect to products and services or to propose or engage in commercial transactions.

Any content placed on the workspaces that violates these rules will be removed as soon as it is reasonably discovered by NEMA. Users of the NEMA Workspaces are encouraged to bring to the attention of NEMA management and staff any violation of these rules. Users who violate these rules accept liability for and agree to indemnify and hold harmless NEMA for damages, losses, judgments, claims and lawsuits arising out of a violation of these rules.
