TENDER NOTICE

Islamabad Club invites sealed bids from suppliers for Chicken, Beef & Mutton, Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, Pulses and Fish. Interested potential bidders may obtain bidding documents from Purchase office on payment of Rs. 500 (non-refundable) on or before December 28, 2017. Bids shall be opened on the same date at 11:00 AM. Detailed terms and conditions are below:

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1-The supplier must be NTN/GST registered.

2-The bids shall be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives. No bids shall be entertained without bidders or their representatives.

3-All other rules of PPRA 2004 shall be applicable.

4-Refundable security deposit of Rs. 50,000/- will be submitted with bids in the form of Demand draft/pay order favoring Islamabad Club. This security deposit will be refundable on completion of the contract.

5-That the whole mutton (full carcass) will be packed (per unit) in a poly bag and other parts like (leg/chop/shoulder) also delivered in plastic bag.

6-That the supplier will undertake to provide HALAL products in accordance with Islamic Shariah.

7-That suppliers’ representative will supply the items as per agreed specification. In case of rejection due to substandard quality the supplier will be bound to replace the rejected items.

8-That the purchaser reserves the right to discontinue the order or terminate the agreement at any time without assigning any reason. However if supplier wishes to discontinue the supplies a prior notice of 30 days shall be required in writing to the purchases. In case of termination of the contract from the supplier that Islamabad Club will not refund the amount of security deposit.

9-That the quality of supplies as per approved sample by procurement committee.

10-That the supplier will deliver items ordered by the purchaser before 11:00 AM to the nominated department of the club by its management.

11-That the supplier will fulfill demand on as & when required basis. The acceptance of all deliveries is subject to verification by the concerned department regarding quality and quantity.

12-That the purchaser will communicate the requirements order through email, SMS, and by fax twenty four hours in advance.

13-That the mode of payment will be through chequeafter tax deduction. Payment will be made on fortnightly basis.

14-That the goods supplied/delivered shall be accompanied by invoice/delivery challan.

15-Club reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders/bids under section 33 of PPRA rules 2004.

16-That the purchaser reserves the right to buy the item from open market and deduct the price (risk purchase) from the supplier in the following scenario.

a-when the supplier fails to deliver the items in time.

b- If the purchaser finds the delivered item to be of substandard quality.
