By promoting commute alternatives at our worksite, we are ahead of the curve, but it is up to us to continue strengthening our mission of reducing air pollution, traffic congestion and fuel consumption by encouraging the use of commute alternatives even more.
The Travel Green Initiative gives recognition to our worksite for our on-going efforts and support of the CTR program. Each business throughout Spokane County promoting commute alternatives at their worksite received a Travel Green window static cling decal to place prominently on their front business window.
Travel Green Employers convey to the public that they are a leader and a key to a sustainable future! Travel Green will also be present on MyCommute.org and upcoming promotional materials providing additional awareness to the Initiative.
In the near future, you will also see the Travel Green logo utilized for recognizing employees who use commute alternatives.
