How We Get It Done:

Attract world-class researchers and practitioners by enhancing existing Academy programs. Expand and enhance existing leadership programs at the Academy, National and Global levels

o  Military Leadership Staff Rides

o  Small Unit Leaders Center (Battle Simulations Center)

o  Co-Curricular Leader Training (DCA Clubs)

o  Provide reach back for Army leadership programs

o  Work collaboratively by building networks with individuals and organizations.

o  Create opportunities for reflection and discovery for students, scholars, and practitioners from different disciplines, sectors, cultures, and nations.

o  CENTERPIECE: Global Leadership Conference (akin to Davos) on a specific topic each year. Other conferences, speakers, internships and scholarly programs throughout the year would complement the centerpiece conference and be highlighted at the conference.

·  Create a world class energy efficient (green) leadership conference center

o  State of the art conference rooms equipped with multi-media/virtual capability

o  Provide overnight accommodations that include dining and recreation facilities for individuals and organizations to enhance their experience

o  Provide service to individuals and organizations in an easily accessible way through competent, knowledgeable and professional staff

o  Provide outreach throughout the world through a web presence that dissiminates research, publications, streaming video etc.

o  CENTERPIECE: State of the art Conference Center and Staff that provides a physical presence and state of the art website that provides a virtual presence.

·  Leverage West Point’s location, brand equity, and the teaching talents of former faculty and alumni to form a significant revenue-generating outreach capacity with the goal of making the Center fully self-sustaining within five years of inception.
