SCHOOL PLAY CONTRACT

Understand that being cast in the school play is a commitment. During the next 17 weeks I will work to fulfill my responsibilities for this production which are:

______ATTENDING ALL SCHEDULED REHEARSALS

Students must attend all of their scheduled practices. Schedules will be periodically emailed informing you which practices you must attend. You may not need to attend every practice. If a student is absent, it prevents others from getting the most out of rehearsal time.

______PRACTICING GOOD BEHAVIOR

Respecting others in this cast is essential to a great performance. It is very important to create a team environment for a good production. If you are: disrespecting others, defying authority, disruptive during rehearsals or vandalizing school property, you will be removed from the situation. If the behavior happens again, your parents will be called. If the behavior continues, you will be asked to leave the production.

______MAINTAINING GRADES and ATTENDANCE

Participating in the school play and its corresponding practices are not excuses for missing homework or school absences. School work comes first.

______YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN ITEMS

Your student is encouraged to bring a quiet activity to occupy them during any down time. However, they are solely responsible for their belongings including handheld electronic devices and/or cell phones.

______DRINKS and SNACKS

A snack will be provided before practices. During the dress rehearsals and performances please DO NOT bring anything other than water. No Gatorade, soda, candy or snacks.

______HAVE A GOOD TIME

Mt. View's musical is a great opportunity to have a great time and put on a spectacular show for our community. Enjoy yourself and ....break a leg!

I promise to abide by the listed requirements above. I understand that violating the agreements in this contract can result in my termination from the school play.
