Excess Levy Funded / Effective date-1st day of the month following date of employment. Covers employee/spouse/unmarried children/dependents until 19 if full time student until 23rd birthday. / Employee will be covered for 12 months.
After one year employee pays 100% of premium.

Excess Levy Funded / You must be disabled for at least 180 days before you can receive benefits and exhaust all your sick leave. / Covers non work related disabilities.
Benefit pays 66.67% of your earnings to a max monthly benefits of 4000 per month. Includes a minimum benefit of the greater of 10% of the benefit based on Monthly Income Loss before deduction of Other Income Benefits or 100.00 a month.

Jury Leave / An employee shall be excused from duty on
Those days which he or she serves on a jury. An employee shall be compensated for each day of jury service the difference
Between that allowed for such jury service (exclusive of travel allowance) and the employee’s daily rate of pay.

SickLeave/Personal Leave / Eligible for personal leave equal to one and one-half (1 ½) days per month, 3 which may be taken without cause.
Unused leave shall be accumulative without limitation and shall be transferable within the State. A physician’s written verification is required after two (2) consecutive days of absence. / Example of 200 day employee

Outside of School Environment Days / Six (6) days shall be designated by the county board to be used by the employees outside the school environment.
Leave Donation Program / Employees are authorized to transfer accrued personal leave days to designated employees under certain conditions. Provides an opportunity for employees who have exhausted available leave and who experience a catastrophic medical emergency to obtain additional personal leave.
