Kendra called meeting to order at 12:00 AM
1. Introductions
Kendra asked everyone around the room to introduce themselves by name, company, college or sport.
2. Best MOVITE Chapter Website Award
KCITE won the best MOVITE chapter Website award, Mike displayed on screen for all to see.
3. Upcoming Events
PTOE Exam Prep Course hosted by BHC Rhodes
Series of 5 modules (3/30, 4/13, 4/27, 5/11, 5/25) from 11:30-1:00pm

4. 2015 Excellence in Transportation
Call for Nominations April 29, 2016
Transportation projects in KCITE area completed in 2015
(Must be located in KCITE boundary)
(Multiple categories, everybody is encouraged to send in nominations, on web and by E-mail)
5. Transportation around the Metro (FYI Update)
95th Street across I-35 is closed for the next 6 months
KC Streetcar will be open for public ridership on May 6th 2016

6. Door Prize
Door prize was moved to after and during the presentation. So many prizes were given minutes taker could not keep up.
7. Chapter Presentation (1 PDH)
Topic: 2015 Royals World Series Parade Celebration / Event Management in KCMO, (tour of facilities was cancelled).
Speaker: Jennifer Fales, Emergency Management Coordinator, KCMO
Summary: Educated the group on what goes in to emergency management of a planned event. Began with good news and bad news. Good news the City is updating its IT for Emergency Management. Bad news they now have a glitch and there will be no tour of the facilities today. Jennifer was a very engaging speaker had good audience attention. Went through all involved and the planning. Public Works, EMS, KC Sports Commission, Oneil Marketing, Parks Department, PD of multiple communities, Metro Bus services. Lots of questions and lots of prizes.
Kendra adjourned the meeting @ 01:00 PM (Tour is to be set for later date)
